An uplifting announcement for fans of Assassin’s Creed Shadows Collector’s Edition- Ubisoft has officially reduced the price of the game to $230. The initial price was set to be $280 in May 2024 but now the reduction has taken place after significant adjustments to the game’s content model.
Players who pre-ordered the game have their extra money refunded. Ubisoft has confirmed that features like- three days of early access and season pass will no longer be available, leading to a price drop.
Still, the game includes in-game items and bonuses- Sekiryu Dual Pack, Sekiryu Hideout Pack, and five Mastery Points. The $230 edition also encompasses a statue of the dual protagonists- Naoe and Yasuke and various exclusive collectibles for dedicated fans.
All this content will be accessible for players from day one of release. The developers are reportedly working on Co-op mode but it will be available after launch.
Players have been avidly waiting for the release, the official launch was planned for November but it has been delayed to February 14, 2025. With expectations still high, fans are hoping the extra time will ensure a truly unforgettable experience.
