Fans of Stranger Things will recognize the ‘011’ tattoo on Eleven’s wrist. But did you know the Millie Bobby Brown has the same tattoo in real life – along with several others?

The Electric State star revealed to Wired in 2022 that she has “seven tattoos.” She shared the locations of some, saying, “I have one on my back of flowers, one on my ribs, one here (pointing to her hip), and another on my foot.'”

011 (wrist)
Perhaps her most well-known tattoo, Brown has “011” inked on her wrist, a tribute to her character, Eleven, in Strangers Things. In the show, the small, minimalist tattoo is a reference to Eleven’s number in the Hawkins National Laboratory, where she was experimented on as part of Project MKUltra.
Heart (collarbone)
Brown has a dainty heart tattooed on the left side of her collarbone. It was reportedly inked sometime in early 2022. It’s so tiny that it can only be made out if you zoom in on pictures, but the symbol of love is there.
Flowers (back)
Jake Bongiovi, Brown’s husband, uploaded photos from a trip they took together to Instagram in August 2022, including a picture of Brown in a hot tub. In the photo, she has her back to the camera while looking out into a stunning vista. The photo also reveals that Brown has flowers tattooed on the left side of her back.
Ruth (rib cage)
In November 2022, Brown debuted a new ribcage tattoo at the Enola Holmes 2 premiere. A small tattoo of the name “Ruth” was spotted along her right ribcage. It is thought to be a tribute to her late grandmother, Ruth, who passed away after a battle with Alzheimer’s Disease in November 2020.
Cowboy Hat (arm)
In the early 2023, glimpses of a new tattoo on Brown’s arm started to appear in various social media posts. It wasn’t until she posted this photo dump in May 2023, that fans got to identify that it was a cowboy hat. Yeehaw! Brown posted a reel in August 2024 that gives a clear view of the design.
Butterflies (hip)
In July 2023, Millie Bobby Brown took to Instagram to promote her debut novel Nineteen Steps. In the post, she’s seen relaxing on a sun lounger in a bikini while reading her book. The caption reads “my summer read ✨📖🤍☀️”. Two butterflies in flight are visible, tattooed on her right hip.
JB Initials (ankle)
As reported by People, Brown showed off her latest tattoo in March 2025 when she opted to go without socks while leaving a hotel in London. Dressed head-to-toe in leopard print, she flashed her ankles, revealing a new “JB” tattoo – the initials of her husband, Bongiovi.
