Produced by Superbad’s Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, Invincible has already become one of the most exciting – and daring – superhero shows on TV. It’s based on the comic book of the same name created by The Walking Dead’s Robert Kirkman, alongside Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley.

It follows Mark Grayson, an average teenager who finds out the hard way that he’s anything but average. Turns out his dad is Omni-Man, an ultra-powerful alien hero from the planet Viltrum.
When Mark suddenly starts displaying powers of his own, his father reveals that he was actually sent to Earth to enslave it, not protect it. By refusing his father’s offer to join him in his power conquest, Mark is forced to band together with Earth’s surviving heroes and walk his own path.

Who is Powerplex in Invincible?
Paul plays Powerplex in Invincible season 3, a character who’s real name is Scott Duvall. He’s a villain that has a vendetta against Invincible and a score to settle.
As audiences discover, Duvall’s sister Jessica was killed in a battle between Invincible and Omni-Man at the end of the show’s first season. It is this event that leads Powerplex to embark on a revenge mission against Mark Grayson.
When it comes to abilities, Powerplex can absorb the impact of attacks which makes him highly durable in fights. In addition, he also has the power to control electricity and fire out electrical blasts against his enemies.
Invincible season 3 voice cast
Prime Video’s Invincible features a very impressive – and very starry – voice cast.
The Walking Dead alum Steven Yeun leads the way as Mark AKA the show’s titular hero Invincible. He’s joined by J.K. Simmons as his father Noah AKA Omni-Man, while Sandra Oh voices his mother Deborah.
Together, they’re joined by an ensemble cast that includes Rogen, Gillian Jacobs, Mahershala Ali, Ben Schwartz and Mark Hamill in reoccurring roles.
Meanwhile, the show has seen a number of stars appear as guests. These include Jon Hamm, Mae Whitman, Djimon Hounsou, Lance Reddick, Lea Thompson, Rob Delaney and Rhea Seehorn.
