Keanu Reeves and his girlfriend, Alexandra Grant, have had fans talking, as people adore their relationship. Reeves, 60, is already praised by the public for his normal personality, despite his star status. Grant, 52, is also a normal person with an impressive career. However, the couple met long before they began dating. In 2009, they met at a dinner party and became friends. They collaborated on two books, Ode to Happiness and Shadows, before they began dating. In November 2019, they made their red carpet debut at the LACMA Art and Film Gala.
Before Grant, the John Wick star dated Jennifer Syme for three years before she was killed in a car crash in 2001, and filmmaker Brenda Davis.

Who is Alexandra Grant?
Grant was born in Fairview Park, Ohio, on 4 April 1973. She comes from an educated background. Her mother was an American political science professor. Grant’s father was a Scottish geology professor.
After her parents divorced when she was young, Grant moved with her mom to Mexico City, where she went to a school filled with international students. Later, she attended the International School of Paris and learned to speak multiple languages.
In 1995, Grant graduated from Swarthmore College with a BA in history and studio art. After receiving her BA, she studied at the California College of Arts and received an MFA in drawing and painting in 2000.
Grant’s career
Her career started as an artist, and in 2007, she had her first solo exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art in LA. Lots of her work still consists of art and texts written by other writers, with whom she collaborates.
In 2015, she created Antigone 3000, a series influenced by Greek mythology, which was shown at LACMA and earned her a Los Angeles art award. Two years later, in 2017, Grant wrote the text for Antigone is Me with her sister. The text aimed to show Greek mythology in a modern setting.
While continuing to do shows and exhibits, Grant delved into teaching. From 2009 until 2011, she was a professor at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. She worked on MFA programmes as a mentor at the Pacific Northwest College of Art and Syracuse University.
After meeting Reeves in 2009, the two collaborated on Ode to Happiness, their first book. They reunited in 2016 for another book, Shadows, which was a photographic book. As a result of her collaborations, she and Reeves worked to create a publishing company called X Artists’ Books in 2017, focusing on artist publications.
