Plus, in a newly released teaser trailer for the show, audiences have finally got their first real glimpse at the show’s new take on its alien Xenomorph.
Posted to Instagram, we see a mysterious crate with something moving inside it.
A voice over narrates the action, explaining that “this ship collected five different life forms from the darkest corners of the universe.
Each one a unique deadly species… monsters.”
It’s here where we see the Alien pounce at the screen before a new shot reveals that same ship hurtling towards Earth.
What is Alien: Earth about?

Despite heading our way this summer, details about the exact plot of Alien: Earth are few and far between.
That said, some newly release synopsis details helps to shed some new light on what we can expect from Hawley’s upcoming horror series.
When a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, a young woman (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat,” explains the show’s log-line.
Elsewhere, we get some more information on its time-setting “Alien: Earth is set in 2120 when five corporations – Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic and Threshold – wield the power of nations, and proprietary advancements in technology provide the promise of a new tomorrow.”
