• Last weekend (June 28), lucky ticket holders goers flocked to Glastonbury festival
  • The five day event was headlined by Dua Lipa, SZA, Coldplay and Shania Twain
  • As always, social media couldn’t help but get involved, and created some amazing memes from clips of the festival

It’s the highlight of every music lover’s year.

And Glastonbury 2024 was no different.

More than 20,000 people flocked to the Worthy Farm festival to watch their favorite artists perform at the UK event.

While the footage from the festival looked amazing, certain clips attracted more attention than others online – and a whole host of new memes were born.

Here’s some that stood out to the team here at Pubity.com…

Of course, the festival was frequented by lots of celebrities, including these three

And former One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson, who managed to bring a TV with him to watch England in the Euros

Fans couldn’t stop laughing at Dua Lipa being accosted by a busker and politely smiling through his song

Paul Mescal showed that he was a fan of Shania Twain

But viewers at home were less than impressed with her set

Actor Russell Crowe got in the festival spirit, much to the amusement of social media

And even Tom Cruise made an appearance to watch Coldplay!

As usual, the band were teased mercilessly online

And some people were slightly perplexed by the band bringing actor Michael J Fox onto the stage

The rock ‘n’ roll aspect of the festival was marred slightly by those looking to… keep fit?

And Liberal Democrats leader Sir Ed Davey wasn’t bothered about missing out on the action

But someone made this very valid point about the festival’s proximity to the UK’s General Election…
