Apex Legends Community dropped a significant update on 10 October regarding Akimbo Mozambique- a beloved gun has been nerfed. Players got captivated by this extraordinary gun,

But as quickly as it gained popularity the update struck it like a bolt of lightning. Respawn Entertainment took this bold move to reduce its power in order to balance the game.

The Akimbo Mozambique were added in Apex Legends‘ Season 22 update, and they were considered to be the most overpowered guns. Although the update has undoubtedly ignited the fire of mixed emotions,

  • Both versions of the gun offer slower shooting.
  • The magazine is capable of holding 5 bullets now (previous capacity was 6)
  • Akimbo can hold 10 bullets instead of 12.
  • The gun can is no longer reliable for long ranges due to the increase in bullet spread.
  • The size of Akimbo’s projectile bullets is now reduced.

Yet, amidst the uproar, Mozambique continues to maintain its place as despite all the changes the damage remains untouched. So, those who have mastered it can still make the best out of this gun.
