Rumours have abounded recently over whether Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas could be dating or not.
The pair have been seen together twice in the space of two months. One of these was in the London area of Soho, where they were walking together with de Armas carrying what seemed to be takeaway bags from a restaurant.

Given that this happened around Valentine’s Day, some started trying to put two and two together.
After a bit of silence, the rumours started up again when they were seen in London again together, arriving at the city’s heliport last week. Director Doug Liman was apparently also with them.
Could they be dating?
It appears not to be the case. According to a source in People, the actors were out for dinner with their agents and were purportedly “discussing potential collaborations down the line.” The source claimed Cruse and de Armas “appeared to have no romantic connection” and were “just friends.”
As such, it appears that their relationship remains professional, especially since they were spotted with a director in tow. No details have emerged yet of the projects they could be working on.

In addition, de Armas has been linked with a third party more recently. The person in question was Manuel Anido Cuesta, who is the stepson of Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez. He was first person to hold both the presidency and be the leader of Cuba’s Communist Party since the Castro brothers’ dictatorship.
Neither Cruise nor de Armas has commented on their relationship.
What projects are they both involved with?
de Armas will be back on the big screen soon for the John Wick spin-off Ballerina. She plays Eve, a Russian ballerina turned assassin seeking vengeance against the men who killed her family. We first encountered the character in John Wick 3: Parabellum, but she was played by Unity Phelan.
Ballerina comes to theaters in June.

Meanwhile, Cruis’s next project is Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning – and naturally, he’s doing his own stunts. One 30-second teaser that aired during the Super Bowl commercials, depicting Cruise hanging onto a 1930s style biplane.
The film – the eighth in the Mission Impossible franchise – is out in May.
