The BAFTAs are just over a month away, and today the full list of nominees for the BAFTA Film Awards was released. The nominations include major categories such as Best Film, Leading Actress, Outstanding British Film, and more.

At the front of the race is Edward Berger’s thriller Conclave, which leads with 12 nominations. Close behind is Jacques Audiard’s multilingual cartel thriller Emilia Pérez, earning 11 nominations.

The show is set to take place on February 16 and will be hosted by David Tennant. You can watch it live on BBC One or stream it on BBC iPlayer. For viewers outside of the UK, the ceremony will also be available on BritBox.

Religious thriller Conclave dominated the nominations, including nods for Best Film and Leading Actor, with Ralph Fiennes being recognized. Meanwhile, Emilia Pérez is following closely, also receiving a nomination for Best Film and standing out with a Makeup and Hair nomination—something Conclave did not secure.

In third place with 9 nominations is The Brutalist, which includes a nomination for director Brady Corbet as well as a Leading Actor nomination for Adrien Brody.

With the nominations officially out, the race is on. But what other surprises are in store for the BAFTA Film Awards this year?
