He’s one of Hollywood’s most in-demand actors.

But Barry Keoghan firmly shone the spotlight on someone else this week – his girlfriend, Sabrina Carpenter.

The Oscar winning actor, 32, made sure to sing his partner’s praises during a radio interview, after the news broke that she had earned a whopping six Grammy nominations – the first in her career.

“I’m really, really happy for her,” Keoghan said of Carpenter, 25. “I gotta get on the phone soon,” he continued before joking, “Don’t put me on the spot, lads.”

Keoghan even noted that he got to experience Carpenter’s work ethic first hand, when he starred in the music video for her track, Please Please Please.

He added, “I don’t know anyone who works as hard, you know? I’m in awe of her, watching her work and her [commitment] and the standards that she sets, especially being on that music video.

“She knows the vision, she knows what she wants.”

‘I’m incredibly blessed’

This isn’t the first time this week that Keoghan has gushed about Carpenter

The Saltburn star appeared on The Louis Theroux Podcast – where the broadcaster cheekily pressed him for details about his relationship.

Keoghan told Theroux that he felt “incredibly blessed” to be dating the Taste singer, adding, “Such a strong, independent lady who’s massively talented and yeah, pretty special.”

After meeting in September 2023, Carpenter and Keoghan were spotted having a romantic dinner together three months later, and made their first public appearance at W’s Grammys after-party in February.

The Oscar-nominee was later seen supporting his girlfriend as she performed at a string of festivals around the world, including Coachella – where she referenced his role in Saltburn by changing her outro to her song, Nonsense, while he looked on.

“Made his knees so weak, he had to spread mine. He’s drinkin’ my bath water like it’s red wine. Coachella, see you back here when I headline,” she sang.

The pair later attended the Met Gala together, as well as Carpenter’s 25th birthday party.
