This centuries-old text follows the Greek hero Odysseus and his journey home after years of battle in the Trojan War. As per Variety, we now know that Nolan plans to film sections of his epic in Sicily. Not only that but The Dark Knight filmmaker will shoot on Favignana or “Goat Island”.
According to Greek literature scholars, this location is believed to be the place that inspired parts of Homer’s mythic story.
