For those that love the MCU, the Mandalorian, Toy Story and other franchises, Disney has just put some dates in your diary – the company has just released a whole slate of release dates for upcoming blockbusters, with a slew coming out just weeks apart in spring and summer 2026.

Fans of Moana have a lot to look forward to. Firstly, Moana 2 has been confirmed for 2024, while a live-action version of the first film has been put back a year and will now hit theaters on July 10, 2026.

The long wait for Toy Story 5 will go on. It was confirmed as happening in early 2023, but won’t be in theaters until June 19, 2026. Details on the plot of Toy Story 5 have yet to be announced, with many fans wondering where the franchise will go next, as the ending of the fourth film seemed to put a full stop on the story. However, the same was thought with Toy Story 3 too. The only thing Pixar chief Pete Docter has said is that the film will “be surprising”.

Elsewhere, streaming hit from the Star Wars universe The Mandalorian will come to the big screen on May 22, 2026. Titled The Mandalorian and Grogu, plot details have yet to be confirmed, but Marvel favorite Jon Favreau is at the helm of it.

Speaking of Marvel, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is set to be released on May 1, 2026, having been put back from its original release date of 2025.
