- Just like festive movies, everyone has a favorite Christmas song they like to listen to during the holidays
- And celebrities are no different
- From Ariana Grande to Mariah Carey, eight celebs reveal their favorite Christmas song…

It’s Christmas Eve, which can only mean one thing – we have our favorite festive tunes on repeat before we have to say goodbye to them for another year (boo).
And much like Christmas movies, everyone seems to have a holiday-themed track that is special to them.
From Fairytale of New York to Jingle Bell Rock, there really is something for everyone to stream on Spotify during the festivities.
But what will some of our favourite stars be playing today? Eight celebrities open up about their top Christmas song ever…
Ariana Grande

She may currently be wowing audiences in theaters as Glinda in Wicked, but Ariana Grande channels a different diva during the holidays.
Back in 2011, the Dangerous Woman singer, 31, wrote on Twitter/X, “Just sang along 2 Mariah’s O Holy Night full out in the car, haha! Such a nerd. That might be my favorite Christmas song!”
Kristin Chenoweth
Grande isn’t the only Wicked star to reach our list – as Kristin Chenoweth also revealed her top Christmas track.
When asked by a fan in 2014 what her choice would be, Chenoweth, 56 – who debuted the part of Glinda in the 2003 Broadway opening of Wicked – stated, “I’ll Be Home for Christmas.”
Chenoweth released her own holiday album, A Lovely Way to Spend Christmas, in 2008.
Harry Styles

They may have split in 2016, but One Direction’s fan base across the globe is still going strong.
So loyal followers will be thrilled to learn of Harry Styles’s favorite Christmas song.
In unearthed footage from 2011, Styles, 30, said his top song is Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.
Niall Horan
In the same interview, Styles’s former bandmate Niall Horan also chose a classic – with a twist.
After admitting that he loves White Christmas, Horan, 31, quickly added, “Michael Buble’s version.” Noted.
Emma Roberts

Our second star to favor the Queen of Christmas herself, Emma Roberts also opted for a Mariah Carey classic.
Back in 2012, the actor, 33, tweeted, “Favorite Christmas song is definitely All I Want For Christmas! Or any song Michael Bublé sings.”
Roberts certainly isn’t alone – as Carey’s 1994 hit has become the first Christmas song to reach over two billion streams on Spotify.
Tyler, the Creator
Also taking to Twitter to make his Christmassy feelings known back in 2013, Tyler, the Creator was another celeb to opt for a classic.
The rapper and singer, 33, said his favorite Christmas song is Let It Snow.
But far from the Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin versions of the track, Tyler is blasting out the Boyz II Men version.
Mariah Carey

Two of her hits have been chosen for this list – but what could Mariah Carey herself possibly be blasting out?
Surprisingly, the singer, 55, didn’t also choose one of her own tracks – but actually revealed in 2016 that she loves Nat King Cole’s version of The Christmas Song.
Cliff Richard
Surprisingly, it wasn’t Carey who was the biggest diva on this list – as Sir Cliff Richard actually did say his own tracks were his favorite!
While he conceded that White Christmas is “just an absolute classic”, Richard, 84, continued, “I’m tempted to say one of my own, because one of the best Christmas songs I’ve ever heard was Saviour’s Day.”
But it is a tough decision to make, as after singing along to another one of his songs, he mused, “Mistletoe and Wine… maybe that one’s better than Saviour’s Day.”
Who says you have to be humble at Christmas, eh?
