While Macaulay Culkin has joined the season two cast, marking his first major television series role in several years, what about the season one cast? Who is confirmed to return to the wasteland? Let’s take a look.
Ella Purnell as Lucy
Ella Punell is confirmed to return as one of those show’s three protagonists, Lucy. The vault 33 dweller is currently tracking down her father Hank, with help from the Ghoul.
Purnell opened up to GQ about how her character will be very different after the season 2 finale. “I want the audience at the end of the show to wonder if their hero is still a good person. I don’t know who she’s gonna be in season two, [but] this is what happens when you break the unbreakable. I don’t know who she’s about to become.” she said.
Walton Goggins as the Ghoul

Walton Goggins will be back as ruthless bounty hunter, the Ghoul. Formerly known as Cooper Howard, he is hunting for his wife Barb, who worked for Vault-Tec before the nuclear apocalypse.
Aaron Moten as Maximus
Aaron Moten returns as Maximus, the Brotherhood of Steel knight and also potential love interest for Lucy. Before the events of season 1 Maximus was an outsider desperate to prove himself and he climbed the ranks of the militaristic faction.
Sarita Choudhury as Moldaver
Sarita Choudhury is reprising her role as Moldaver, a commander within the New California Republic. Her strategic acumen and political savvy have been instrumental in the NCR’s expansion efforts. Season 2 will likely focus on the complexities of rebuilding civilization amidst chaos.
When asked by Gamesradar what she knew about her character’s past, she said “I know a bit and I can’t share it, but I also don’t know a lot. But it’s also what I loved, because you’re like, ‘Wait a minute, I want to know from when the bomb fell [what life was like] day by day and then for 200 years. Because she didn’t have access to what the Vault dwellers had. I need it to be revealed. You know what I mean?”
Leslie Uggams as Overseer Betty
Leslie Uggams is confirmed to return as Vault-Tec executive Betty Pearson. Betty became the overseer of Vault 33 in 2297 after the abduction of Hank MacLean.
Kyle MacLachlan as Hank MacLean, Moisés Arias as Norm MacLean and Frances Turner as Barb are all but officially confirmed to return for season 2.
Mr. House, the founder of RobCo Industries, was teased in the first season of the show with a brief appearance portrayed by Rafi Silver. As the self-appointed President, CEO, and Sole Proprietor of the New Vegas Strip in the Mojave Wasteland circa 2281, he is a powerful and enigmatic figure in the Fallout universe. Strong rumors suggest he will play a more significant role in Season 2, and if recent set footage is anything to go by, it seems highly likely.
