- Home Alone star on board for second season of Prime Video series
- Culkin’s role has not been disclosed but will be recurring
- Fallout is based on the hugely popular video game series

Macaulay Culkin is joining the cast of Fallout for its second season in a recurring role, according to reports.
Crazy genius
Deadline broke the story of him joining the cast, adding that Culkin is set to play a ‘crazy genius-type character’ in the show. Although nobody from the show would go on record to confirm this, they added.
The first eight-episode season of Fallout was a huge success on Prime Video when it aired earlier this year. The show, created by Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet is based on the role-playing video game franchise. Stars of the first season included Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan and Walton Goggins. The show garnered 16 Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series.
The show is set in 2296, more than 200 years after an apocalyptic nuclear war, which left survivors taking refuge in fallout bunkers known as Vaults. When a young woman leaves her vault to look for her kidnapped father in the wasteland of what was Los Angeles, she meets a variety of characters, all with their own agendas and pasts.
Busy time for Culkin
This latest role comes in a busy period for Culkin. He recently voiced a character for The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy, which also aired on Prime Video, and had a major part in American Horror Story: Double Feature.
Culkin has also been rumored recently to be reprising his iconic role as Kevin McCallister in a new Home Alone film this Christmas. A poster appeared on Facebook, which swiftly went viral, appearing to trail a film called Cabin Alone, where Kevin and his mom are stranded in a remote cabin and must fight off burglars. It couldn’t be real… could it?
