Daisy Edgar-Jones
Twisters actor Daisy Edgar-Jones is one of Hollywood’s brightest young stars.
But as she is currently performing in London’s West End, the Normal People actor, 26, is focusing on staying present.
“It’s been an amazing year and I’ve learnt a lot about myself,” she revealed. “Sorry, I sound like I’m on X Factor! But honestly, doing this play has been really nourishing for me. It’s been a long time since I felt so… held by a group of people. In the new year, I just want to keep learning.
“And I never read reviews – I just want to stay in the moment.”
Paul McCartney

He’s been in the business for almost 70 years – but at 82, Sir Paul McCartney isn’t slowing down any time soon.
The former Beatle is hoping to release yet more new music in 2025.
“Here’s one: finish an album!” he laughed. “I’ve been working on a lot of songs and have had to put it to the side because of the tour. So, I’m hoping to get back into that and finish up a lot of these songs. So, how’s about that? ‘My New Year’s resolution is to finish a new album!’”
Nick Jonas
When you’re a busy musician – and your wife is a high-profile actor! – it can be hard to carve out the family time that you both need.
So Nick Jonas, 32, is making it his mission to spend more time with his loved ones – including his wife Priyanka Chopra and their three-year-old daughter Malti – in 2025.
“I always find these New Year’s resolutions to be tough. It’s a lot of pressure to follow through with some of these things,” he explained. “I think ‘consistency’, because the idea of a ‘resolution’ says it’s something you’re not doing right now, and I want to reframe it. I want to continue to be consistent with my relationships and people I have in my life – my friends, my family, and obviously my wife and daughter.
“A real consistent communication. When travelling like we do, there’s a lot of time apart but FaceTime really helps. Just staying connected with people while living this very busy life, I think, is something that I’m focused on.”
Michelle Visage

On a similar note to Jonas, Michelle Visage also feels the pressure around this time of year – so opts to be kind to herself, and others.
The Ru Paul’s Drag Race judge, 56, revealed, “I think resolutions are a set up to failure so I have goals rather than resolutions.
“Every year, I start out by always prioritising my health and leading with kindness – kinder and more accepting people, places and situations.”
LL Cool J
And for actor and rapper, LL Cool J, it’s… too late to make a New Year’s Resolution?
Rather than sticking to one day of the year, the 56-year-old admitted that he “lives his whole life like it’s a resolution”.
“When you hit the New Year’s it’s too late!” Cool J remarked. “I don’t do any New Year’s resolutions, I make my mind up years in advance. When the New Year’s comes I’ve usually been working on something for three years ago.”
Okay then…
