Glastonbury 2025 is set to be a massive one with headliners like The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo.

They are set to join others like CMAT, Charli xcx, Nile Rodgers & Chic. The annual festival is highly regarded for the endless sprawl of acts. Each year, the offering gets the people going. Tickets are sold without the lineup being revealed. Disappointment and jubilation are both expected.

Some dubbed the Glastonbury 2025 lineup ‘perfection’

Some were pleased as punch, calling the selection “perfection”.

Someone posted, “Glastonbury lineup is an exercise in perfection.”

Others enthused about it while acknowledging that some will never be happy!

“I’m old enough to know people will call the Glastonbury line-up ‘the worst one ever,’ someone wrote. “Every single year. They’ve got Neil Young (boomer legend), Olivia Rodrigo (Gen Z phenomenon), and The 1975 (huge millennial band) headlining. They are trying to cater to everyone. Quit whinging.

Others called it ‘random’ but not in a bad way

“Glastonbury line-up is pleasingly random. The pop kids are happy. The boomers are happy. And for the rest of us there’s, uh, Weezer,” one person mused.

Others thought the negativity was a bit overdone

Many people did not welcome complaints on the internet and wished everyone would stop.

Someone wrote that “every year like clockwork the Glastonbury lineup is announced and the timeline is just full of people moaning…. shurrup.”

Others thought the ‘games absolutely gone’ when it comes to Glastonbury 2025

Many were not pleased with the names featured on the list and got wistful about the years gone by.

“Games absolutely gone,” dubbing it “the worse Glastonbury lineup I’ve ever seen by a country mile.”

“The @glastonbury lineup is out for 2025 and apart from Rod Stewart and Chic it is one of the worst line ups ever! #Glastonbury,” someone chimed in.

Someone else reflected that “if I saw that glasto line up I’d sell my ticket,” while looking back at the previous lineups.

Someone else was displeased with the lack of “household names” on the Glastonbury 2025 lineup.

“That Glastonbury lineup can only be redeemed by Rod Stewart joining The Prodigy onstage to sing the “I’ll take your brains to another dimension” section of ‘Out of Space’,” someone wrote.
