- Corsair’s CEO suggests GTA 6 may arrive on PC in early 2026
- Rockstar follows a console-first release pattern for GTA titles
- Take-Two’s schedule raises doubts about GTA 6’s launch timing

While the release of GTA 6 on PC is still uncertain, the discussions pertinent to it are keeping the fans excited. Now, according to the CEO of Corsair, Andy Paul, it might arrive in the early months of 2026.
GTA 6 PC Release: A Long Wait Ahead?
The console players are out of this worry as the game will first arrive on consoles and then will make its way to the PC, which is the usual pattern of Rockstar Games with the GTA series.
While speaking during the 2024 Q4 earnings call, Paul said, “But yeah, GTA 6 is probably the one everyone is talking about. And we’ll get a glimpse of that, I think, later on in the year for console.
My understanding is that it’s going to come out in the fall for consoles and then early ’26 for PCs. “Further mentioned that players seem enthusiastic about upgrading their systems for this upcoming title; he called it “the most anticipated and hardware-demanding game”.
With such high expectations, he expects GTA 6 to drive sales of gaming accessories and hardware, strengthening Corsair’s business, “Our gaming business has never looked so strong. And we are well into the integration of the Fanatec sim racing company.”
Rockstar’s Console-First Strategy Continues
Although PC fans are thrilled to know that they have some timeline till they will have to wait, still nothing has been confirmed officially. Recently, Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two Interactive, mentioned that the game won’t be released for PC at the launch, which means it won’t launch at the same time as the console.
Looking at past trends, the company typically delays its PC versions; GTA 5 first hit the consoles, and then after 19 months, it arrived on PC; if Rockstar follows the same pattern, Andy’s prediction can be true.
Another interesting detail is that Take-Two has scheduled Borderlands 4 for a late September release, fans are now doubting the GTA 6’s launch, as how the company is going to manage the both game’s releasing timelines.
