He’s the unlikely heartthrob who has caught the eye of Hollywood’s elite.
But now Pete Davidson has found himself single again after splitting with actor and model, Madelyn Cline.
The SNL comedian, 30, had been dating Cline, 26, for almost a year, before reports broke this week that things had “fizzled out” between the pair.
A source told the US Sun, “They ended things fairly recently, and I understand it was amicable.”
Davidson’s break up is the latest in a long line of his very famous exes. From singers to socialites, here’s the rundown on his dating history…
Pete Davidson’s Dating History
Carly Aquilino, 2015
Briefly dating back in 2015, Davidson and actor and stand-up comedian Carly Aquilino seemed to end things amicably.
But upon hearing of his engagement to Ariana Granda in 2018, Aquilino did appear to shade her ex, reportedly posting a screenshot of a text message she received on the day of the announcement which read, “I know I’m the 9 billionth person to text you today about this, but… I can’t.” “My day in a text message,” she captioned the image.
However, things seem to be back on track friendship-wise between the pair, as they starred in the 2020 movie The King of Staten Island together, with Aquilino taking to Instagram to publicly thank Davidson for the role.
Cazzie David, May 2016 to May 2018
The year after his split from Aquilino, Davidson dated writer and actor Cazzie David – the daughter of comedian Larry – for two years.
Breaking up in May 2018, Pete confirmed the relationship had come to an end during a candid interview on Complex’s Open Late with Peter Rosenberg. “We’re not together anymore,” he said, but added, “Very talented girl, she’ll be great and she’ll be fine. Yeah, I think she’ll be okay.”
Although David revealed that Davidson had actually ended their romance in a text message – and also found out that he was dating Ariana Grande the very next day, which left her “shaking uncontrollably” in her dad’s arms – the two seem to be on good terms.
In her book – titled No One Asked For This – acknowledgements, David wrote, “Pete. I love you … Your bravery inspires me and your friendship means the world to me.”

Who could forget Davidson’s engagement to Ariana Grande?
The popstar began dating the comedian soon after his break up with David – and things escalated very quickly. Davidson even debuted two tattoos on June 2: the initials ‘AG’ on his hand and Grande’s famous ‘Dangerous Woman’ bunny ears behind his ear.
Next thing we knew, Davidson had popped the question, which he confirmed on June 15 – almost exactly a month after they were first spotted hanging out.
However, it wasn’t meant to be – although Grande did use the brief fling as song inspo.
In her track Thank U, Next, she sings, “Even almost got married. And for Pete, I’m so thankful” – and apologizes to him for “dipping” in the accompanying music video.
Kate Beckinsale, March to April 2019
Davidson is no stranger to an age-gap relationship – as exemplified in his romance with Kate Beckinsale.
The Underworld actor was first linked to Davidson in January 2019, when they were spotted flirting at a Golden Globes afterparty. At the time, Pete was 25 while Kate was 45, giving the duo a 20-year age gap.
Confirming their relationship on March 4 by kissing at a New York Rangers game, Davidson reportedly met Beckinsale’s family soon after.
“I’ve never been in this position before – never dated anybody who comes with their own bag of mischief,” Beckinsale told the LA Times later that month. “It’s all quite shocking, and something to get used to. I think if you liked the person less, you would bow out of it. If that were the main thrust of the relationship, there would be a problem. But it’s not.”

Margaret Qualley, August to October 2019
While Davidson’s brief relationship with Maid actor Margaret Qualley may only have lasted a few months from August 2019, he still managed to get her family on side.
Qualley’s famous mother Andie MacDowell discussed the relationship with PEOPLE a month after they were pictured holding hands, and said, “I FaceTimed with Pete the other day or so, she took a video of me to send to Pete that’s what it was. She has a beautiful relationship with him but I don’t want to step on her relationship too much. They have a nice relationship.”
Kaia Gerber, November 2019 to January 2020
A month after his split from Qualley, Davidson was linked to model Kaia Gerber – the daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford and her businessman husband, Rande Gerber – when they were spotted holding hands in upstate New York.
The relationship only lasted a few months, with Davidson opening up about the split a month later in a sit-down interview with Charlamagne Tha God.
“We were dating for a few months,” he explained. “She’s very young, and I’m f***ing going through a lot and it was before I went to rehab.
“It’s just like, she should be having fun. She shouldn’t have to worry about some dude that just has issues and s**t. She should be enjoying her work. It just wasn’t the right place or the right time at all.”

Though rumors began swirling that Davidson had moved on with Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor in March 2021 – when the pair were spotted holding hands in Staffordshire – it wasn’t until July that they made their first public outing.
Dynevor – who is now engaged to actor Cameron Fuller – was pictured kissing and cuddling Davidson at a Wimbledon match.
By the following month, the pair had gone their separate ways – with an insider telling The Sun, “Pete and Phoebe’s romance was a real whirlwind and from the start they were both totally committed. But as time has passed, it’s become increasingly obvious it is going to be difficult to make this work.
“It was wild while it lasted and they both really care for each other. But the distance has put a strain on them. Their mates think they make a great couple but the distance has made it completely unworkable. They had fun and will remain close but unless something drastic changes their relationship won’t recover.”
Kim Kardashian, October 2021 to August 2022
In a romance that hit headlines, Davidson dated none other than Kim Kardashian until May 2022.
First linked in the prior October, when Kardashian hosted Saturday Night Live, they were then pictured holding hands on a rollercoaster during a trip to Knott’s Scary Farm in Buena Park, California, and enjoying what looked like a double date with her sister Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker.
The pair were then seen boarding a boat in The Bahamas to kick off 2022, and were papped holding hands on a Valentine’s Day date in February.
The following month, Kardashian – who was fresh from her split from ex-husband and father to her children, Kanye West – revealed her new beau had tattoos dedicated to her.
In April, Kardashian revealed she was thinking long-term about their relationship. “Obviously, I want to take my time, but I’m very happy and very content. And, it’s such a good feeling just to be at peace,” she told Good Morning America.
“I am a relationship kind of girl, for sure, and I wouldn’t be with someone if I didn’t plan on spending a lot of my time with them.”
Although the pair broke things off in August 2022 – with a source telling E! News that their busy lives and differing time zones “made it really difficult to maintain a relationship” – they both reportedly still have “a lot of love and respect for each other”.

Though Davidson seemed to take a break from dating, it wasn’t too long before he was snapped up by another eligible bachelorette.
In early November 2022, it was reported that he had caught the eye of Emily Ratajkowski, and the pair had “gone on a few dates”.
The insider added that “Pete texted Emily wanting to get together to catch up”, with Instagram gossip account Deux Moi saying they were spotted “holding hands” and “clearly hooking up.”
However, by December, it appeared things were over between the two.
Chase Sui Wonders, December 2022 to August 2023
After starring together in the movie Bodie Bodie Bodies, it was rumored in December 2022 that davidson was dating his co-star, Chase Sui Wonders.
The pair were spotted together at a New York Rangers game with their fellow co-star Rachel Sennott; and a month later, the couple were seen cuddling in a restaurant in Brooklyn.
Later that month, the two seemed to confirm their relationship after they were seen holding hands and kissing at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Sadly, the pair split up in August 2023 after nine months of dating.
Madelyn Cline, September 2023 to July 2024
After his split from Wonders, Davidson began dating Cline.
“Pete and Madelyn are dating,” a source shared with US Weekly. “They spent the night together at the Beverly Hills Hotel and then had breakfast together there the next morning. They were really low-key and kept things casual, wearing baseball hats.”
