- Ashley Tisdale is an American actress who gained fame from the Disney Channel
- She played blonde bombshell Sharpay Evans in three High School Musical movies
- Recently, Tisdale, a mom of two, said her daughter is “obsessed” with the movies

High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale has revealed her daughter is “obsessed” with the movie. Tisdale, 39, has two daughters and starred in three High School Musical films from 2005 until 2008.
Back then, Tisdale was a fixture on Disney Channel, rising to fame on the hotel sitcom The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. On the show, Tisdale played a teenage hotel employee, candy counter girl Maddie Fitzpatrick. Additionally, Tisdale voiced Candace Flynn on the animated Disney show Phineas & Ferb.
However, her most prolific role with The House of Mouse is playing teenage blonde bombshell Sharpay Evans in High School Musical. Tisdale played the role in four movies, including one invidiual film, Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure.
Sharpay is an ultra-glamorous perfectionist who wants the lead in the school musical and later, Troy (Zac Efron), and wants to be a famous performer on Broadway.

Now she has given us life by revealing her daughter loves the movie, like many of us do.
What did the High School Musical star say about her daughter?

On 13 May, the High School Musical star took to her TikTok page to share her daughter’s newfound love for her mom’s Disney diva days.
Tisdale’s video has over 1.4 million likes currently.
“I don’t know what kind of karma this is, but Jupiter saw my niece in High School Musical the play last weekend,” she began her TikTok video.
The mom of two continued, “When she’s seen the movie in the past, like, she never really cared about it, but I think seeing my niece in the play, play me, has just changed her, so she had to watch all three movies.”
Is this giving anyone else life? Imagine being so iconic that your daughter becomes obsessed with a role you played 20 years before?
She will not stop listening to the music. It’s playing in the house right now. When I’m on walks with her, she asks for me to play it, when I’m in the car, she asks for me to play it,” Tisdale told her followers.
What are her favorites of the franchise?

But which movie is her four-year-old’s favorite? The best in the franchise, High School Musical 2, of course!
As for her favorite song, the 39-year-old’s daughter loves the Hawaii and tropical-themed song, HUMUHUMUNUKUNUKUAPUA’A. This song appears as a deleted scene and was not in the original film.
However, the High School Musical star drops quite a bombshell: she has “hate” for that song. Well, not really, she clarifies she doesn’t mind listening to it “over and over” for her daughter’s happiness.
We won’t blame her, Sharpay’s best song will forever be Fabolous or Bop To The Top.
Perhaps the most heartwarming part of the story is where Tisdale says how proud her daughter is to have Sharpay as her mom. She goes on to say that in public, her daughter screams, “‘I’m Sharpay’s baby!’
“Like I can’t. I just feel so embarrassed when I’m walking into a store, and she’s like, ‘We’re all in this,’ And I’m like, ‘Oh, my God,'” said the High School Musical star.
While she loves her daughter’s enthusiasm, Tisdale expresses that she gets bored after a week of hearing the music and watching the film.
Tisdale is a mom of two. She married her husband, composer Christopher French, 43, in 2014 and had two children born in 2021 and 2024.
