A Presidential inauguration has come to mean a show out for some of the greatest talent on the scene.

Carrie Underwood was confirmed for the upcoming swearing-in ceremony that will see Donald Trump become the 47th President of the United States, as per Axios.

The Village People have also confirmed participating at one of the inaugural balls. Trump is a noted fan of their hit YMCA.

They wrote on Facebook, “We know this won’t make some of you happy to hear however we believe that music is to be performed without regard to politics.”

“Our song YMCA is a global anthem that hopefully helps bring the country together after a tumultuous and divided campaign where our preferred candidate lost.”

However, the American Idol winner and the group are not the only star to set the political stage alight. They join an illustrious legacy of people who have performed at presidential inaugurations.
