Famously Sweeney’s personal life has remained private. The only somewhat controversial moment in her personal life was in 2023 when rumors swirled Sweeney was having a fling with her co-star Glenn Powell. Powell and Sweeney starred in the 2023 romantic comedy Anyone But You. Powell had been dating his longtime girlfriend Gigi Paris since 2019 but they broke up in April 2023 before the movie was released.

Sweeney and Powell were praised for their chemistry but denied any rumors they were involved. The actress has been with Davino since 2018, while Powell is currently single.

Reports of a rough patch between Sydney Sweeney and her fiancé

However, this was not what has fueled recent breakup rumors between Davino and Sweeney. The Daily Mail reported that Sweeney and Davino were living apart, with reports saying she has been staying at the Beverly Hills Hotel since the middle of February. Reports surfaced that month that the two had postponed their wedding, fueling rumors of a breakup.

A source told the tabloid, “Sydney and Jonathan are in a rough patch with their relationship, and they have decided to stay away from each other to reassess if it is more important to save their relationship or move on.”

No confirmation of a breakup has been made Sweeney or Davino yet, but here is how the internet reacted to the news.
