So far, the trial has focused on those 10 accused of robbing almost $10 million worth of jewellery from Kardashian. According to BBC News, one of the accused, Yunice Abbas, 71, had his history of crimes detailed to the court, and when asked, Abbas said he “regretted” what he did.

Is Kim Kardashian testifying in the trial?

Reports say Kardashian will take the stand and testify in the Paris robbery trial on 13 May. Lawyers for the reality star said in a statement, “Ms Kardashian is reserving her testimony for the court and jury and does not wish to elaborate further at this time”.
They continued, “She has great respect and admiration for the French justice system and has been treated with great respect by the French authorities.”
Where is the trial taking place?
The trial is taking place at The Palais de Justice, a huge court in Sainte-Chapelle.
In this case, there will be six jurors who will decide the fate of the accused, and three magistrates will be involved. French courts reserve this tradition for only the most serious and high-profile cases.
Officials removed two defendants from the trial—one recently died, and the other has a medical condition that prevents prosecution.
Prosecutors accuse five defendants of armed robbery and kidnapping, while they charge the other five with complicity in the heist and unauthorized possession of a weapon.
Only two of the accused have admitted their role in the robbery, whereas the other eight continue to deny participation.
The court heard investigators recount how Kardashian said the intruders tied her up. They then put her in a bathtub, ransacked the hotel room, and stole her jewellery.
