  • The main one of these is the money Tatum earned for working on the Magic Mike movies – which Dewan says was “developed with community effort and marital funds”

They split in 2019 after 13 years together.

But while Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum’s romance may have been done a long time ago, the drama surrounding it is far from over.

The former couple – who married in 2009 and share a daughter, Everly, 10, together – are now arguing in court about cash.

Dewan, 43, is requesting half of Tatum’s money from his Magic Mike film franchise, claiming that she and Tatum, also 43, previously agreed to give her an equal share. She also alleged that the movies were “developed and co-financed by Channing with community effort and martial funds”, and accused Tatum of hiding details about his earnings.

“The Magic Mike intellectual property and all the proceeds thereon is the elephant in the room,” Dewan’s lawyer, Samantha Spector, told the judge last week. “We have, for the last couple of years, been trying to meaningfully resolve this case, but every time we do, we get stuck on that issue with Magic Mike. We are dealing with a potential billion-dollar asset.”

And now sources say the fallout is affecting their once amicable relationship.

“Channing and Jenna both knew it would take awhile for them to settle their divorce but neither of them thought it would be this long,” an insider told Us Weekly. “Jenna will fight for what she is entitled to – a fair settlement by California State Law. Channing doesn’t think Jenna’s claims are fair.”

The couple both acknowledge that they want the divorce to be over as they have both moved on – Tatum with his actor fiancée Zoë Kravitz; while Dewan already shares a four-year-old son, Callum with her partner Steve Kazee, and is pregnant with their second child – but they reportedly “still can’t get on the same page”.

“Channing is actively trying not to give Jenna money that she is owed. He is trying to block any settlements. Their priority is to be respectful for the sake of their daughter,” says the insider. “Channing and Jenna only communicate when it has to do with Everly. They always maintained a great co-parenting relationship.”

However, other sources claim that Dewan has “already received millions” prior to the settlement.

“The latest development has caused tension between the dynamic,” one said. “Jenna is asking for things she is not entitled to.”
