- Jennifer Lawrence expected second child
- Star spotted with baby bump in LA
- Lawrence has two-year-old with husband Cooke Maroney

Jennifer Lawrence is pregnant with her second child.
The news, which was recently confirmed by fashion outlet Vogue, arrives after the No Hard Feelings star was spotted out and about sporting a baby bump.
The 34-year-old actor was spotted by photographers in Los Angeles on Saturday 19 October wearing a white La Line t-shirt which revealed a small bump.
The star already has a two-year-old son with her husband Cooke Maroney. Maroney is an art director at New York’s Gladstone Gallery.
From actor to producer
The news comes as Lawrence marks a career shift from roles in front of the camera to producing positions behind it. Over the past couple of years, the Hunger Games actor has executive-produced a couple of projects that put women’s rights front and centre.
Earlier this month, the documentary Zurawski v Texas, which looks at stringent anti-abortion laws in its titular state, received its premiere screenings in Los Angeles, New York, San Antonio and Austin.
The film’s arrival couldn’t be more timely, with women’s control over their own bodies forming a major focus point in the lead-up to the 2024 presidential election. The film was also executive produced by former presidential nominee, Hilary Clinton.
In addition to Zurawski v Texas, Lawrence’s name will soon be seen as a co-producer on another upcoming documentary entitled Bread & Roses. Set to land on Apple TV+ later this year, this film takes a stark look at the Afghan women forced to live under strict Taliban rule in Kabul.
Before her foray behind the camera, Lawrence shot to fame by starring in some of the biggest films of recent years.
Her role as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games franchise helped propel her to becoming a household name before her role in David O. Russell’s drama Silver Lining’s Playbook won her an Oscar in 2013.
Who is Jennifer Lawrence’s husband Cooke Maroney?

Lawrence is married to 40-year-old art gallery director Cooke Maroney. The pair share a two-year-old son named Cy who was born in 2022.
According to a previous report by Elle, Maroney and Lawrence met through mutual friends in 2018 and became engaged a year later. Throughout his career so far, Maroney has worked as the director of a number of New York-based art galleries.
For a period of time, Maroney was employed at New York’s Gagosian Gallery before moving on to become the director-at-large of Gladstone 64 in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. This venue is part of the wider Gladstone Gallery, which is also based in New York City.
