- Series will pick up after the events of John Wick: Chapter 4
- The show will feature a mix of established characters from the franchise and new ones
- Keanu Reeves is on board as an executive producer on the show

The John Wick universe is continuing to expand with the confirmation of a sequel series in the works – but no confirmation of whether the titular character will appear in it.
New and old
John Wick: Under the High Table will pick up the story after the events of John Wick: Chapter 4 and promises to combine new and old characters in the John Wick universe.
Keanu Reeves is on board as an executive producer – but possibly not in an acting role – as is the franchise director, Chad Stahelski, who will also direct the pilot episode. Meanwhile, Robert Levine, who co-created The Old Man, is writing the script and will serve as showrunner on the series.
The plot of the show has been outlined. As John Wick has left the High Table world in a tenuous position, it leaves the way open for new characters to make a name for themselves, while some of the veterans from the films remain there and are committed to the old-world order.
Expanding universe
This is the latest expansion of the John Wick universe following last year’s prequel series The Continental: From the World of John Wick, which ran on Peacock.
Shahelski signed a deal in January to develop the John Wick universe in film and on TV and this is the first part of that.
It isn’t known if there will be a John Wick 5 film yet – the ending of the 4th film was left ambiguous – but there is talk of a spin-off film focusing on the Yen Caine character.
