Josh Allen was fired up after the Buffalo Bills secured their place in this Sunday’s AFC Championship game.

The Bills quarterback was filmed delivering an impassioned victory speech to his teammates after Buffalo overcame the Baltimore Ravens 27-25 in a dramatic, snow capped Divisional round game, last night.

A heart wrenching late drop by Ravens tight end Mark Andrews and some uncharacteristic mistakes from Lamar Jackson allowed the Bills to advance to a meeting with the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. And Allen made sure everyone around him was fired up for the trip to the Super Bowl champions, this weekend.

After Bills coach Sean McDermott had addressed his players and praised their resiliency, especially having come up against a late Ravens fightback in the snow, quarterback Allen took the floor and showed his appreciation for those around him in incredible fashion.

“Hey it takes everybody right? It takes f*****g everybody. I’m so f*****g proud of you guys. I’m so proud of everyone in this room. You are here for a reason. And don’t forget that. It takes every single one of us. We’re not done yet.”

Coming up against fellow MVP favourite Jackson, Allen completed 16 of his 22 passes for 127 yards. The three-time Pro Bowler led the offense to rushing touchdowns on three of four first-half drives and also had eight carries for 22 yards.

Allen and the Bills must now negotiate the unenviable challenge of overcoming reigning, defending Super Bowl champions Kansas City in their own back yard, on Sunday. The Bills have lost all three games they have played against Kansas in the Mahomes era, but will be looking to put a stop to that record in this weekend’s AFC Championship game.

Another record the Bills will be looking to reverse is their 0-4 Super Bowl record. Buffalo infamously lost four consecutive Super Bowls between 1990-93 and have not been to one since. Are Allen and co the group to finally deliver a championship to Niagra Falls?
