It Ends With Us director and star Justin Baldoni has returned to social media. Following Blake Lively‘s lawsuit against him in December 2024, Baldoni has made his first social media post. Because of the lawsuit with Lively, 37, Baldoni, 41, has gained mainstream fame.
At the end of last year, the actress filed her lawsuit accusing Baldoni of a smear campaign and sexual harassment. In response, Baldoni countersued for $400 million, refuting the allegations and accusing Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, 48, of the following: libel, invasion of privacy, and breach of contract.
The drama continues, as Baldoni’s lawyers subpoenaed Taylor Swift, 35, in the case. The trial is taking place in March 2026.

Since the lawsuit, Baldoni has not breathed a word on social media. Now, the It Ends With Us star is back on social media.
What did Justin Baldoni say in his return to social media?

Over Mother’s Day weekend, the 41-year-old returned to his social media. In a stunning photo with his mom, children, and wife, Baldoni wrote on Instagram: “My mom gave us faith. My wife is the definition of it. Our children are growing up in the fortress of that love. Happy Mother’s Day to all ❤️”.
Since 2013, Baldoni has been married to Swedish actress Emily Foxler, 40, now Baldoni. Together, the spouses share two children.
In the public eye, he has been low-key in recent months, given the lawsuit situation. While the drama unfolded, Baldoni spent time in California and Hawaii.
Interestingly, the Jane the Virgin star left his comments on. Unexpectedly, they were filled with positive messages.
The comments were overwhelmingly positive
Country singer Andy Grammer wrote, “Love everyone in that photo with all my heart. ❤️”

Meanwhile, actor Colton Underwood also chimed in by commenting with heart emojis on the photo.

Another person said, “She raised a good man,” referring to Baldoni’s mother.

For context, some of those people who were on Lively’s side stepped back or had their comments limited.After siding with Lively in the legal battle, author Coleen Hoover briefly left Instagram. Hoover wrote the book for It Ends With Us.
Additionally, Amazon turned off comments on a post featuring Blake Lively about her recent movie Another Simple Favor, which was released on the streamer on 1 May.
Evidently, Baldoni’s return to social media with an open comments section is interesting.
