Leak Ahead of Launch
The leaked gameplay of Sonic X Shadow Generations on YouTube has built up great sensation among the community ahead of the release. The game will be released on October 25 but some hardcore fans got early access which eventually led to the leak.
There are multiple confirmations regarding this incident. According to Insider Gaming, a YouTuber named Vexi got their hands on the early rom version and shared two gameplays- each of six minutes, using the Switch emulator Yuzu.
The raw gameplay straight out of the unreleased game has gained the attention of all Sonic fans and now they are more thrilled for the game. Vexi mentioned that the gameplay doesn’t include spoilers while keeping the true essence of Sonic X Shadow Generations under wraps.
However, with Nintendo’s strict policies, these videos may not stay online for long. The comicbook shared an X-user’s post, displaying the comparison between the new and previous way of interaction between Sonic and Amy.
Considering these players have already begun dissecting changes in-game- Sonic now treats Amy with more kindness, reflecting Sega’s ongoing effort to modernize character portrayals and they have also shared positive and negative remarks.
Sonic X Shadow Generations will be launched across multiple platforms- PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Soon it will be available and all Sonicheads can begin their stirring adventure.
