One of the first secrets Brown revealed was that she was given a pair of pants that belonged to the legend Pamela Anderson. Anderson is a nineties blonde bombshell best known for starring on Baywatch. On how she got the pants, Brown said it was because of her press for her new movie, The Electric State. The Electric State is set in the nineties so Brown said she wanted everything she wore on the press tour to be from the “nineties archives”. We love a vintage queen!

The 21-year-old actress also dished on her celebrity pals, revealing she’s friends with British singer Raye and movie star Tom Cruise. She spoke a lot on the podcast, diving into everything. But what did Brown reveal? Read on to find out.

What did Millie Bobby Brown say on the podcast?

Farm girl life

As a child actor, she said she moved to Atalanta to film Stranger Things. When she was 18 she moved out but she wanted to house her animals, so she moved to a farm next to her parents. The young actress also said she has 25 animals and named them all! Now she lives on the farm with her husband, Jake Bongiovi, musical legend Jon Bon Jovi’s son.

Millie Bobby Brown wants to be on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives

When asked what reality TV show she would want to be cast on, Brown said The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives. The show follows a group of Mormon wives who are mom influencers. The show premiered in 2024 and has season 2 set to come out on 15 May. On her love for the show, Brown said she was “obsessed” with it.

The young actress also said she loves Love Island, a UK-based reality show based on young singles in a villa coupling up and forming connections.

Stranger Things stories

Brown was asked about Stranger Things and reflected on it. “We had so much fun as kids, I will say that. As much as we worked, our schedules were crazy, us kids stuck together like glue. We did everything together, we laughed all the time, I look back on those memories and we did just have so much fun.”

She reflected on moments with her co-star Noah Schnapp when they would “pull faces, make noise, make fart jokes”. In a specific story, she said they “teepeed the classroom” and “hid their teacher’s computers” while on lunch. The mischievous duo hid in the closet and laughed at the situation.

Brown also revealed that Winona Ryder and Schnapp were the two who would be most likely to make her laugh in scenes. Ryder gave her the best advice.

Weirdest fan experience?

Brown said a man brought her a coffin with a doll of her in it at an event! The actress says she was confused, but signed it for him. Yes, that is a strange thing…

She would shave her head with her first child

That’s a yes to shaving her hair! For her role in Stranger Things at age 11 she shaved her head. However, she didn’t mind the experience and revealed when she had her first child she would do it again.

“I just think hair is such an ordeal anyway to deal with. I’m going to nurture my child, why deal with my hair? I think it’s just a liberating experience to be a woman. I had that experience as a girl, but I’d like to have that experience as a woman,” Brown told Cooper.

Comments about Millie Bobby Brown’s appearance

On how Brown dealt with romantic relationships and comments about her experience, she said she’d meet people “online”. “I never got to meet anyone, everything was very monitored, in terms of when I met a boy,” Brown said.

Because she was a child actor, Brown said she found it hard to communicate with people her age because of her “lack of socialization with children” and working as a child star. This is reflected in her friendships, as she says many friends of hers are “over 25”.

Also without social media, she said that she doesn’t know a lot of social media trends. Brown is not on TikTok, which is primarily inhabited by her age group.

How Millie Bobby Brown met her husband

The Electric State star has been with Jake Bongiovi since 2021 and married him last year. Their marriage made headlines as Brown was only 20 when they married.

On meeting her husband, she said they met “through a mutual friend”. The friend was planning to college in the same place as Bongiovi. Her friend gave her Bongiovi’s number, and one day she decided to cold-call people, the first was Bongiovi. Boldly, she asked him if he was single, and he confirmed he was. Over a few months, Brown revealed they would watch TV shows together and talk on the phone.

A while later, she confessed that she liked him, and he told her he reciprocated the next day. The two went on their first date after that.

What a cute story!

The broken cycle

A relatable moment came later. The star revealed that a man picking her up from the airport was an ick. She said that Bongiovi “broke the cycle” and when she saw him at the airport she felt like she was in love. Adding to the story, she said he “picked [her] up and spun [her] around”, but she loved it.

On another occasion when picking Bongiovi up from the airport, Brown’s father started to drive the car but Bongiovi somehow managed to jump into the moving vehicle and impressed her father.

Speaking about meeting Bongiovi’s family she said the occasion was very normal compared to her family who “like to be in the relationship” with her and her husband.

Aww cute.

When was Millie Bobby Brown in love?

Brown said she realized she saw a future with him when they moved in together. Her and her husband spoke about “politics, how we want to raise our kids,” which prompted her to see him as her forever person. Both of their parents married young. Jon Bon Jovi married his wife Dorothea Hurley in 1989 when he was 27. Well, Brown was much younger when she married Bongiovi and he was 21 when they married.

Bongiovi and Brown live on a farm together in Atlanta, Georgia.

First big purchase

Brown revealed her first big purchase was a pair of Chanel sunglasses. Speaking about her childhood, she said she is very “money-conscious” because she “grew up with no money.” Another purchase she said she made was her house, which she bought when she came of age.

The tea on the wedding

Cooper asked Brown if she was a Bridezilla during her wedding, and the actress hesitated. She claimed she “knew the schedule” of the wedding from back to front. Hilariously, she revealed her husband saw her freaking out before walking down the aisle and “waving her arms around”. On why she was like that, Brown said it was because it’s “the actor in [her].”

Speaking about the ceremony, she said she “didn’t care” about the little details and forgotten things during that ceremony.

The ladies gushed about their weddings. Cooper married her film producer Matt Kaplan in April 2024. The following month, Brown married Bongiovi. UK R&B singer Raye performed at her wedding.

Brown said her first dance was a six-minute choreographed routine. They performed multiple songs from Grease including You’re The One That I Want and they practiced for “a year and a half”. Talk about dedication!

When they danced, she said everything went well at the wedding and people were in awe.

On why Bongiovi’s superstar father didn’t perform she didn’t say much, but she said he “danced the night away.”

What attracted her to The Electric State

A big factor that convinced her to work on The Electric State was working with the Russo brothers. On Stranger Things, Brown worked with the show’s creators, the Duffer brothers. She called the script of the film “so original” and said it had a “beautiful message behind it”.

On choosing heroines to play she says she wanted young girls to see girls “changing the world” that are relatable and convincing.

Dream co-star?

Brown rounded off her interview by revealing who her dream co-star is, and it is none other than Margot Robbie! “I would just love to work with her. I just think she is a pro. When I watch her, I feel inspired. She leads her movies with drive, with this sense of feeling like a bad***. Yes, she works alongside men, but I can’t keep my eyes off of her.”

Another celebrity she named was Meryl Streep, who Brown revealed she had met before.

What Millie Bobby Brown wishes people knew

Brown mentioned the press. “The press, they love to go in on me sometimes with certain things. I know people say I look a lot older. That’s a thing that I get, people are like, ‘Oh my God, she looks 40.’ I’m like, Yeah, you did meet me when I was 10, so I’d understand, I’m now 21, it’s been 10 years!”

The actress also spoke about her accent and people pointing out her hybrid accent. The actress said it “doesn’t get to her” as an adult, but it did when she was younger.

“You’re not going to tell me how to be a woman, you’re not going to tell me how to be a girl. That is not the world I live in,” Brown said.

Brown called out the press and said they needed to learn “manners” and “go back to school”, specifying the impact on young women and Hollywood actors.

What a mic drop and end moment!
