Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is about to turn up the heat—and the horror—this November 14 with a massive Season 1 update. A new Zombie map- Citadelle des Morts, and Directed Mode will soon be available midway through the season.
Citadelle des Morts: A Soul-Stirring Map
Although developers have shared news but haven’t revealed everything yet to maintain the curiosity. Mentioned in a note,
“Zombies Reveal at Mid-Season! Directed Mode and the Hand Cannon come to Zombies at Season 01 Launch, with an all-new map and more new content coming later in the Season.”
Citadelle des Morts map is set in an abandoned castle- gives off spooky vibes, somewhere in Europe. The story involves characters- Weaver, Maya, Craver, and Grey who step out on this spine-chilling adventure, leaving the previous location- Terminus.
They move forward by following the clues that make them land in the castle- packed with horrific secrets and hidden mysteries. The partially disclosed details have already turned the heads of the community towards this haunted addition.
Directed Mode and New Features
For players who only want to focus on the story, ignoring the side quests and special challenges, BO6 has got your back. This update also adds a new feature- Directed Mode. It can be played without encountering the hordes of enemies as this mode limits the action to just 15 rounds, The team wrote,
“For those players wanting to witness the Zombies story with a guided experience to complete the objectives of the Main Quests in Liberty Falls and Terminus, Directed Mode is for you. Note that all Side Quests and S.A.M. Trials are disabled in Directed Mode to ensure players can focus solely on the narrative.”
