- Rodrigo joined Gwen Stefani and No Doubt onstage for their Coachella set, performing their song Bathwater
- The streaming figures rocketed, with 113,000 plays on Sunday and Monday alone
- Elsewhere at Coachella, fans enjoyed Doja Cat’s typically wacky outfits – and spotted a very famous fan in the crowd of Sabrina Carpenter’s set

She’s the pop superstar who, after only two albums, has already made her mark on the music scene.
And now Olivia Rodrigo is breathing new life into the songs of her lyrical heroes.
The 21-year-old joined band No Doubt on stage at Coachella last weekend – and since the appearance, their streaming numbers have rocketed.
The band – fronted by singer Gwen Stefani – have seen a 450% surge in plays for their song, Bathwater… which Rodrigo just so happened to guest star on during their set at the festival.
Billboard reports that the track racked up 113,000 plays on platforms like Spotify and AppleAAPL -0.6% Music between Sunday and Monday (April 14 and 15).
While the Rodrigo effect can’t be denied – with her performance with the band going viral on social media – the group’s reunion at Coachella also benefited their streaming figures.
Billboard notes that the group’s catalog earned 2.6 million streams on Sunday and Monday following their performance – up a whopping 85 percent from the week before.
Olivia’s surprise appearance wasn’t the only talking point at Coachella.
Singer Doja Cat had no less than six outfit changes during her headline set – including donning a fluffy bikini, a nude fishnet bodysuit and a white hazmat suit.
Elsewhere, Sabrina Carpenter set tongues wagging when her followers spotted a very special fan in the audience – her rumored boyfriend, Barry Keoghan.
The Irish actor, 31, – who caused a stir with his nude dancing whilst starring in British movie Saltburn last year – enjoyed the 24-year-old singer’s set from the crowd, and even took some sweet videos of her performance on his phone.
“Barry Keoghan he’s just the biggest fan of Sabrina Carpenter,” one fan commented their approval to Twitter/X.
“Barbie and Ken in real life,” someone else agreed.
A third added, “Barry Keoghan is such a loser for Sabrina Carpenter and like I get it I do.”
The pair were first reported to be dating when they were seen on a date together at Luna Luna, an interactive museum in Los Angeles, in January.
