The new Nintendo Switch leaks are keeping curiosity alive among the community; recently, the images of the logo of the successor console have been surfacing.

Potential Name and Logo Leak

Although Nintendo hasn’t shared any official details regarding it, with this potential logo, fans are guessing its name is “Nintendo Switch 2”, which doesn’t seem to align with the company’s tradition of coming up with creative names for their devices.

Such as Nintendo Wii U, GameCube, and Game Boy, reflecting the developers’ innovative approach to naming the consoles. The upcoming console was first confirmed in 2024; since then, fans have been eager to learn more, with many expecting the official reveal before March 2025 and a release shortly after.

While the details remain under wraps, leaks suggest that it may stay similar to the original one. In the past few months, there have been a number of rumors regarding its design, functioning, and so on.

One of the most recent leaks comes from Necro Felipe, editor-in-chief of Universo Nintendo, Shared the logo image, which looks similar to its predecessor, with the Joy-Con controller graphic.

Additionally, there is the number “2” written on it, making fans speculate about its name. He recreated the logo to avoid copyright issues, and this is what he mentioned in a tweet:

“I can say that, for the first time, I gained access to the Nintendo Switch 2 logo thanks to a photo of the console that a reliable source sent me.

Based on what I saw and respecting the proportions, I recreated it, and it will look EXACTLY like this.”

Fan Reactions and Patience Amid Uncertainty

Despite all the skepticism, as there is official confirmation, this leak aligns with the previous suggestion about the new console’s similarity with the original Switch.

The rumor about the design in December 2024 suggested that there are no significant upgrades, it has a sleeker look and black borders around the buttons, offering a bit different appearance.

Again, everything is still vague, and fans have expressed mixed reactions. The best thing they can do is wait instead of getting excited or disappointed about any leak that comes on way and wait to hear authentic news from the developer company.
