They’re one of Hollywood’s biggest power couples.

And it seems that Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are making sure to firmly cement their young family in celebrity culture – by giving them uber-famous godparents!

The couple – who first met on the set of Green Lantern back in 2011 and married a year later – welcomed their newest edition, Olin, back in February 2023.

And now Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy has revealed he will play an important role in the little boy’s life.

“Little by little, all of the Reynoldses started being a part of the movie, including their youngest,” Levy said of the action star’s family’s cameos in the new film in an interview with Variety. “As the proud godfather of Olin, that might be my favorite voice cameo.”

While Levy kept schtum on whether he was also godfather to Reynolds and Lively’s three daughters – James, nine, Inez, seven, and four-year-old Betty – we’re positive that the girls won’t feel hard done by… as they have Taylor Swift as their godmother!

Just weeks ago, the Karma singer, 34, gave a cheeky shoutout to the youngsters while plugging Reynolds’s new movie.

“’Deadpool and Wolverine is out TOMORROW! Here’s where to buy tickets if you like things that are unspeakably awesome,” wrote Swift with a link. ‘Shout out to Wade Wilson [Reynold’s Deadpool character], aka my godkids’ sperm donor!”

‘I can’t afford Blake’s fee!’

Elsewhere, cheeky Reynolds made a candid confession about his wife.

The couple are known for publicly poking fun at each other – and one interview with Reynolds proved to be no different.

When asked, “What would it mean to work with your best friend Blake?”, Reynolds jokingly replied, “She’s not half the friend that Hugh is,” citing his friendship with co-star Hugh Jackman, who portrays Wolverine in their new movie.

He then continued, “You know, in the old days, they all got to work together, hanging out. We got Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn…That’d be nice.

“I’d love to work with Blake. I can’t afford her fee. But I would love that.”
