- The fun segment is part of Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet tour
- Qualley was attending Carpenter’s final US date with her husband, Jack Antonoff

She’s just finished up the US leg of her world tour.
So it’s only right that Sabrina Carpenter was to go out with a bang.
The Espresso singer, 25, has driven fans wild with her cheeky antics on the Short n’ Sweet tour – including a segment which takes place before her song Juno, in which she ‘arrests’ a member of the audience for ‘being too hot’.
Many celebrity attendees like Rachel Sennott and Mille Bobby Brown have had the honor – which is signified by fluffy pink handcuffs – bestowed upon them, and Carpenter’s last night in Los Angeles was no different.
Pausing the show to address the audience, Carpenter spotted was her friend and collaborator Jack Antonoff in the crowd – who appeared to be super happy that the spotlight for the special moment had landed on him.
But Carpenter had other ideas.
“Oh, this is super awkward,” she said. “Like, I’m sure you’re probably really good at… in fact, I’m confident you could produce someone even hotter than you.”
Signalling for the singer to give him one second, Antonoff then dragged another person into the frame – his wife, Margaret Qualley.
The actor, 30 – who is the daughter of Andie MacDowell and Paul J. Qualley – shyly waved hello to Carpenter.
“Now this right there, ladies and gentlemen, this is a hottie with substance,” said the Taste singer, referencing Qualley’s recent body horror movie which co-starred Demi Moore. “Whoever made you, god bless them, god bless their genetics.
“I think Margaret and Sabrina are good names to be in a relationship together.”
