Sadie Sink has been cast in Spider-Man 4 in an unknown role.
The actress will be joining the titular superhero, Tom Holland, in the Marvel movie, according to Deadline. Best known for playing Max in Stranger Things, this is one of her most high-profile roles after shooting to fame in the Netflix series. The show – which also launched the careers of stars like Millie Bobby Brown and Finn Wolfhard – is coming to a close with its hotly anticipated fifth season soon to land on the streaming service.

Questions have swirled about whether Holland’s real-life fiancée Zendaya will be reprising her role as MJ Watson. However, due to her scheduling commitments with projects like the third season of Euphoria, chances seem slim.
On the flip side, details of Sink’s role have been kept under wraps.

Who is Jean Grey, the role that Sadie Sink could be playing in Spider-Man 4?
Jean Grey is one of the most powerful mutants in the X-Men universe.
In the character’s lore, Grey was born into the mutant subspecies of humans to parents John and Elaine Grey. Growing up without her powers, her strong telepathic and telekinetic abilities first manifested when her childhood best friend died in a car crash.

This incident also put her into a coma. Her parents sought help from fellow mutant telepath Charles Xavier, who blocked her powers until she was old enough to use them.

She has operated under many nom de plums, such as Marvel Girl, Phoenix and Dark Phoenix.
Grey’s first appearance in the Stan Lee-created comic arrived in September 1963. Due to her longevity, she has had many storylines, in and out of alternative timelines and realities.
Since 2000, Grey has appeared in seven X-Men films. The first actress to take her on was Femke Janssen. Grey has also been played by names such as Sophie Turner and Venus Terzo.
