Secret Level has been renewed for a second season Prime Video has announced – just as the second batch of episodes from the first season dropped.
The news that will be a relief to fans of streaming series, where many big-name productions have been dropped after just a single season this year, such as Netflix’s Kaos, which starred Jeff Goldblum.

Secret Level is an anthology series of one-shot stories set in the worlds of various well-known video game franchises, including Pac-Man, Mega Man, Dungeons & Dragons and Honor of Kings. Amazon claimed the series brought together more game IP in a single series than ever before.
The first eight episodes of season one dropped on December 10 and, according to Amazon, Secret Level has become the most-watched animated series in its first week after debut on Prime Video. However, Amazon has not provided exact numbers.
The remaining seven episodes of the first season of Secret Level dropped on Tuesday (December 17).
No details on Secret Level season two
While season two has been announced, details about it are currently unavailable. Likewise, there is no hint as to when it could be available to stream. However, these details will emerge in time.
There is likely to be high anticipation for season two, as there was for season one. The first season drew some big Hollywood names too including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Keanu Reeves, Kevin Hart and Ariana Greenblatt. Other cast members include Ricky Whittle, Temuera Morrison, Merle Dandridge, Claudia Doumit, Clive Standen and Michael Beach.
Reeves meanwhile has been talking up a spinoff to one of his other voiceover projects – playing Shadow the Hedgehog in the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie. Reeves, along with fellow star Idris Elba, thinks there would be mileage in a Shadow and Knuckles spinoff.
