- Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy has revealed his next project
- Project work begins just after press tour for Deadpool & Wolverine ends
- But Levy also teased what his next movie could be

Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy has revealed what the next project he will be working on it, and what his future in movies could be.
Premiere exclusive
Speaking exclusively to Pubity on the red carpet at the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere, Levy said that once he has finished the press tour for the much-anticipated entry of the characters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he is moving straight to his next project – directing on season five of Stranger Things.
“I’m excited to be back with the Duffers and finishing out this era – an era of storytelling and an era of our lives,” he said.
But as for his plans after the conclusion of Stranger Things? Levy was coy but did drop a couple of hints. “I really don’t know,” he said. “I read the internet rumors too – sounds like there might be a Star Wars movie, there might be a Marvel movie. I’m going to play it cagey and say I’m only going to direct a movie again when it is something I can’t resist.”
Red carpet reveal
Also on the red carpet, Deadpool himself, Ryan Reynolds, revealed to Pubity that Hugh Jackman sent him and Levy a 17-minute voicenote before the film, making his pitch for the role and hints for the plot.
Meanwhile production on the fifth and final season of Stranger Things is well under way. To coincide with the eight anniversary of the first episode of Stranger Things being aired on Netflix, a video was released giving a behind the scenes look at the cast, as well as some hints for what fans can look forward to when the series finally hits our screens.
