Fans of Silent Hill have reason to be excited as Bloober Team, the studio behind the renowned Silent Hill 2 remake is going to surprise them with more amazing projects in the future.
While speaking to IGN they disclosed their openness towards exploring games in this franchise. Wojciech Piejko, director at Bloober Team, hinted to fans that there can be more remakes or new Silent Hill games.
Tough nothing clear has been said, the team expressed that, “I think we are always open,” Piejko said. “If we like the opportunity, we’ll take it.” Silent Hill 2 remake was released on October 8 and instantly became a favorite– leading to impressive sales and heightened interest of gamers in the dread survival series.
Considering the high demand, the studio is working on the sci-fi survival horror game Cronos: The New Dawn, set in post-apocalyptic 1980s Poland. But Silent Hillers there is more for you to lay hands on.
Konami- a company that owns Silent Hill is focusing on the development of a gripping series- Silent Hill- Townfall, an anthology series, and Silent Hill f- all set to take you in the historical period of Japan in the 1960s.
