Spotify Wrapped is finally here – and with it has come the announcement that one of Sabrina Carpenter’s songs has been the most streamed of 2024. 

The soundtrack to our summer, Espresso bagged the top spot with a whopping 1.6 billion plays across the globe. 

The track has been nominated for the coveted Record of the Year gong at next year’s Grammy awards

Alongside the nomination, Carpenter – who released her sixth record, Short n’ Sweet, on August 23 – is up for Album of the Year, Best New Artist, and Song of the Year for her track, Please Please Please. 

She is also in the running to win Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album.

Carpenter joins a whole host of other artists on the most-streamed list since Spotify began – from a one-hit wonder, to a former member of one of the world’s biggest boy bands.

Carpenter ‘splits’ from Barry Keoghan  

The news has come at just the right time for Carpenter, as elsewhere in her life, things aren’t quite so rosy.

This week, it came to light that she had reportedly split from her boyfriend of just over a year, Barry Keoghan.

The break up news is surrounded by allegations that the Saltburn actor, 32, had cheated on the singer with influencer Breckie Hill
