The Baldwins found respite filming their new reality show very healing after their years of legal trouble.
Alec and Hilaria Baldwin might have had a very stressful legal battle amid the fatal shooting of Halyna Hutchins.
Alec was facing potential jail time in connection to the death of the cinematographer. She died on the New Mexico set of the movie Rust after Alec raised a firearm, which he thought was a prop gun.
Hilaria told PEOPLE magazine, “It was an opportunity for us to actually speak. It was a really safe space.”
And I think it was also very cathartic, almost like a diary, during a very unsure time of our life. That felt both terrifying and like it could get us through day by day,” she continued

Was Alec Baldwin cleared of the charges related to Halyna Hutchinson’s death?
Yes, the presiding judge dismissed the case last year after the prosecution didn’t supply relevant evidence about the ammo used in the shooting.
“The late discovery of this evidence during trial has impeded the effective use of evidence in such a way that it has impacted the fundamental fairness of the proceedings,” Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer said on July 12 last year. “If this conduct does not rise to the level of bad faith it certainly comes so near to bad faith to show signs of scorching.”
When is The Baldwins coming out?
The show will land on screens on 23 February and will showcase the couple’s life in their Manhattan home. Together, the pair have seven little ones. Alec also has an adult daughter, Ireland, with his ex, Kim Basinger.
According to a press release, the series “blends the highs and lows of family life, with the challenges and humour that come while raising a large family in the public eye.”

What have they revealed it will go into about the trial?
The trailer showed a conversation between Alec and Hilaria about the case.
In the video, Hilaria tells Alec, “A son lost his mom in the most unthinkable tragedy. This is never something to forget, and we’re trying to parent through it.”
Her words bring him to tears and to reckon with the role his family has played in how he has coped.
“Honestly, from the bottom of my soul, I don’t know where I’d be if I didn’t have you and these kids,” Alec tells Hilara.
