The top 10 richest YouTubers by net worth in the world have been named, with a familiar face coming out on top.
Jimmy Donaldson – better known as Mr Beast – placed first, with a net worth of $500 million. US-based Donaldson, known for his huge – and costly – stunts, which often include huge giveaways as well as philanthropy, now employs a huge team to help produce his videos, which rack up millions of views within hours of being posted. He also has a large merchandise operation, including his own brand of chocolate.
Donaldson has nearly doubled the net worth of Anastasia Radzinskaya – better known as Like Nastya – who placed second on the list with $260 million. Like Nastaya is a hugely popular channel that follows nine-year-old Russian-American Nastaya and her parents as she learns, sings, plays and shares her life experiences. Her main channel has 112 million subscribers.
Makeup artist Jeffree Star placed third, with a net worth of $200 million. As well as YouTube, Jeffree has a cosmetics range.
Another child star, Ryan Kaji – best known for the Ryan’s World channel – came fourth on the list, with a net worth of $100 million. He also has a large merchandise range available globally.
Brothers Jake and Logan Paul placed fifth and sixth respectively, with net worths of $80 million and $75 million.
Pewdiepie – real name Felix Kjellberg – who was once the highest-earning YouTuber, is now seventh on the list, with $45 million to his name.
The remainder of the top 10 was made up by Jacksepticeye (real name Sean McLoughlin, worth $40 million), DanTDM (Dan Middleton, $35 million) and KSI (Olajide Olatunji, $35 million).
