Travis Kelce admitted that the Kansas City Chiefs losing to the Philadelphia Eagles

They failed to snag the trophy after the final score hit 40-22 to the Pennsylvania team after winning the title four times; the first in 1970, 2020, 2023 and 2024.

He told his brother Jason on their podcast New Heights, “It just wasn’t our day. “I couldn’t find a lick of momentum. I’m kicking myself for some of the tiny, tiny decisions I made on the field.”

“I wasn’t the best leader that I could be in motivating my guys and keeping my guys calm, cool, collected,” he continued. “I put a lot of that on myself as the guy that’s been in the building for 12 years and seen a lot of football and actually seen a situation just like this in the Super Bowl.”

Travis admitted that it was a “tough pill to swallow” before saying, It’s a hard reality, man. I love my teammates, I love my coaches. Chiefs Kingdom, I’m sorry for how it ended.”

During the game postmortem, the tight end admitted that he wished he could have supported his teammate Patrick Mahomes more along with “help my team find that momentum or that confidence.”

Travis wasn’t all misery on the broadcast with his brother, who recently retired from the opposing winning team.

He was able to see the silver lining in his support network like his mum Donna Kelce, girlfriend Taylor Swift and her pal Alana Haim.

“I have a beautiful life. I have loved ones, I have the most amazing family in the world that supports me in everything that I do. They were all there, cheering me on and hoping for the best on Sunday,” Travis said on the podcast.

Travis also gave it over to his big brother’s former side, telling Jason, “But I just have to tip my hat to the Eagles.”
