Sabrina Carpenter is set for world domination.

Aside from her amazing music career – which saw her win her first two Grammy awards in February – fans have been treated to a string of live shows thanks to her Short n’ Sweet tour, as well as being able to watch her performances as the latest artist to have a Fortnite Festival season.

But as many of her fans will know, before all this, Carpenter, 25, actually started her career as an actor – appearing in shows such as Law and Order and Sofia the First, before landing her big break on the Disney show, Girl Meets World.

And now her followers are all wondering the same thing – who did Carpenter play in the Harry Potter movies?

So here’s the thing – Carpenter never actually appeared in the beloved wizarding series.

But she has previously cleared up claims that she was one of the stars, alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson.

The mix-up came as fans think Carpenter looks remarkably similar to Evanna Lynch – who played Luna Lovegood in the franchise.

And in a 2021 interview with Wired, Carpenter hilariously set the record straight that she never appeared in the Harry Potter movies.

Revealing that a common search about her was ‘Who did Sabrina Carpenter play in Harry Potter?’, Carpenter addressed the rumors in her own unique sense of humor.

Rather than simply stating outright that she didn’t take part in the movies, Carpenter joked, “Great question! I was Ron. So, it was a great experience, and I grew up on that set.”

While Carpenter may be concentrating on her music career, fans are hoping that she does return to acting for a very special project.

There has been much speculation that the pop star is set to play Britney Spears in a new biopic about the singer.

Carpenter’s name has been floated alongside Millie Bobby Brown and Tate McRae.

But director Jon M. Chu has responded to the rumors.

In a statement on X, Chu wrote, “None of this is true. Sounds exciting, but have not had one conversation about casting this movie yet. We are way too early in development. Sorry.”
