There have been a few teasers about Wednesday season 2. Ortega has promised that her character would be “darker”. In a behind the scenes video, Catherine Zeta-Jones who plays Morticia Addams warns this season will be “bigger and more twisted”. There are many hints that the show will lean more into the horror, element, and the new Wednesday season 2 sneak peak shows that. But what did the sizzle reel reveal? Read on to find out.
What did the clip reveal about Wednesday season 2?
About 1-minute into the video, we see our beloved Wednesday again. A girl who is not Ortega wears the Nevermore Academy uniform, walking through an old library or storage area with Thing on her shoulder.

The character transition into Ortega as Wednesday in a vision. Thing walks along a bookshelf, and tosses a book at Wednesday. The girl (not Ortega’s Wednesday) then has one of Wednesday’s psychic visions. The visions shows the gates of Willowhill Psychiatric Hospital. Chained up to the wall in a room in the hospital is Tyler Galpin (Hunter Doohan), who was revealed to be the monster of season 1.

The clip shows Wednesday coming face-to-face with him. Tyler’s fate was left unknown at the end of season 2 as he is taken away in a transport van. He wasn’t dead, but we didn’t know where he went.
The clip suggests that Willowhill Psychiatric Hospital will play a significant role in Wednesday season 2. The facility is the same place where Tyler’s mother, Francoise Galpin was taken to when her monster was unlocked.
Previously although Doohan was confirmed to return, fans didn’t know exactly how he would. It’s nice to see Tyler back in Wednesday season 2, hopefully with an interesting storyline about his Hyde.
When is Wednesday released?
No release date has been confirmed yet, despite the reel confirming the release date of Squid Game season 3. However, you can stream season 1 of Wednesday on Netflix while you wait.
