Justin Baldoni’s been working in Hollywood for a significant while, but has only gained a greater sense of notoriety more recently.
Aside from acting, he has spent plenty of time behind the camera. Before directing It Ends With Us, he founded the production company Wayfarer Studios in 2019. He also directed a few episodes of Jane The Virgin.

Although It Ends with Us – a film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s popular novel – already raised Baldoni’s profile, he later started becoming known for the wrong reasons. In December, co-star Blake Lively sued him alleging sexual harassment and that he and his PR team attempted to launch a smear campaign against her.
Baldoni then filed a countersuit against Lively accusing her of trying to ruin his reputation and his career.

Baldoni was born on January 24, 1984 in Los Angeles, California. He was raised in Medford, Oregon.
He was an athlete in high school and went to college on a partial athletic scholarship but later dropped out. In the mid-2000s, he pivoted into acting. He had some small roles around this time including The Young and the Restless and Heroes as well as in advertisements.
Major roles and directing
Baldoni’s breakthrough role was in Jane the Virgin, which ran on The CW between 2014 and 2019. He played restaurant owner Rafael Solano, who was a love interest for protagonist Jane Villenueva.
Later, Baldoni turned his hand to directing, working behind the camera on several episodes of the show.
In 2019, Baldoni founded his production company Wayfarer. The same year, he made his directorial debut with the romantic drama Five Feet Apart. More recently, he directed and starred in It Ends With Us..

Baldoni’s net worth isn’t massive compared to some celebrities. As of 2024, he was estimated to be worth between $4 million and $8 million. He reportedly pocketed $320,000 (£255,478) for playing Ryle in It Ends With Us.
