He’s one of Hollywood’s fastest rising stars.

So it would be fair to think that Paul Mescal is receiving a paypacket that mirrors his success on the big screen.

Fans are currently flocking to theaters worldwide to catch the Irish actor, 28, in Gladiator II – which is directed by Sir Ridley Scott, and also stars Pedro Pascal and Denzel Washington.

But as Mescal gets used to his name in lights, how much is his estimated fortune? Pubity.com takes a look…

How much has Mescal earned from his movies?

Mescal rocketed to fame back in 2020 as the lead role of Connell Waldron in the Hulu hit show, Normal People.

But while it may be the series that made him a household name, that doesn’t mean that Mescal was paid very much for the part.

In fact, the actor reportedly told OK! Magazine that he spent his entire first paycheck on drinks for the cast. “I did stupid things like buying the cast a round of drinks, which was pretty much my entire wage!” he said.

Mescal’s other movies – including Aftersun, for which he was nominated for an Oscar – have been indie-leaning, so his exact net worth is unknown.

But it’s thought that the star has $2-3 million in the bank.

How much was Mescal paid for his role in Gladiator II?

Just to carry on the theme of being cryptic, it’s – you guessed it! – unknown how much Mescal was paid for his role in Gladiator II.

But with the movie’s huge budget, and its plethora of other Hollywood stars, we’re guessing it’s at least a few million dollars…

Does Mescal have any brand deals?

As well as his ascent to the A-List, Mescal is also fast becoming a style icon.

So much so that he has been snapped up by designer brand Gucci as a face of the label.

Again, though, it’s unknown how much Mescal banked for this.

Does Mescal own any houses?

While you’d think a star of Mescal’s standing would have mansions coming out of his ears, that’s not the case.

But that doesn’t mean he hasn’t invested some of his money in real estate.

Mescal reportedly owns a stone house in Cork, Ireland, which he paid around $600,000 for.
