There’s a special corner of the internet reserved for wild award show wardrobes and these 2025 Grammy awards outfits fit neatly into this always-eyebrow-raising area. 

The 2025 Grammy Awards took place last night and featured no shortage of talking points. From Beyoncé finally taking home the best album gong for her eighth studio album Cowboy Carter to Chappell Roan taking record labels to task during her speech while accepting the award for Best New Artist.

Trophies aside, the 67th annual Grammy Awards featured some of the wildest wardrobe choices this side of the Met Gala. As you might expect,  the internet had plenty of thoughts on some of the stars’ more out-there choices.

First, let’s start with Kanye West and Bianca Censori for what will likely emerge as the most talked about red carpet moment of the 2025 Grammy Awards. The controversial star and his wife were both dressed in black, with West wearing a black tee shirt, pants and shades and Censori wearing a long, fluffy black jacket. 

After taking a moment to pose for photos, Censori removed the jacket to reveal… well, nothing. Underneath, she was wearing just a transparent sheer body dress that left little to the imagination.

Naturally, the move had fans shook. “I just saw Bianca Censori’s dress at the Grammys,” posted one user on X alongside a startled gif of Oprah Winfrey.

“Me coming on the tl to find bianca censori naked at the #Grammys” posted another. 

We’re sure people will be talking about this one for a while.

Jaden Smith wears a castle on his head

The title kind of says it all, doesn’t it? Will Smith’s son Jaden rocked up to the 2025 Grammy awards wearing a simple black suit… and a black model castle on his head, complete with turrets and little windows. 

Apparently, the hat was made by Abodi Transylvania and designed to be a “bold, modern design inspired by Transylvanian history and the vampire legends of the Bathori,” – because who doesn’t want to use one of the biggest nights in popular music to pay homage to vampires?

The move left fans confused… and with plenty of jokes.

“Jaden Smith you’re not a vibe bro,” said one clearly unimpressed viewer.

Others found it flat-out weird.

It’s not like Taylor Swift fans to read into every single detai- oh no wait, yeah it is – and that’s exactly what happened during the singer-songwriter’s Grammy Awards appearance. 

Swift took to the red carpet wearing a sleek red dress but it didn’t take long for Swifties to notice a jewelled ‘T’ hanging above her thigh. Many believe this may be a reference to the lyrics of Call It What You Want from Reputation (Taylor’s Version) and a homage to her new boyfriend Travis Kelce. 

The lyrics read: “I want to wear his initial / On a chain ’round my neck, chain ’round my neck / Not because he owns me / But ’cause he really knows me.” Fans also think the move has links to the song Guilty from The Tortured Poets Department in which Swift sings “What if he’s written mine on his upper thigh.”

“OBSESSED” said one fan account. 

“THE T CHAIN ON HER THIGH” yelled another. 

Chappell Roan goes “bigger and campier”

Let’s be honest, if Roan didn’t make heads turn, we’d all feel a little short-changed. Thankfully, that’s exactly what she did.

In addition to taking home the award for Best New Artist, the singer behind Good Luck, Babe wore a suitably over-the-top, retro-looking Jean Paul Gaultier gown featuring mellow yellows and blues. 

According to her stylist Genesis Webb who selected the outfit, Roan is always on the look-out for something “bigger and campier” when it comes to upping the ante on her outfits. 

“One thing about chappell roan is that her red carpet outfits will never miss,” said a user on X.

“These colors look amazing on her, and they translate into the makeup just as well. I really don’t have much to say other than that she looks great,” added another, saluting her style.
