The Challengers star has been private yet open about dating her Spiderman co-star. The pair went public with their relationship in 2021 when Holland wished Zendaya a happy birthday on Instagram, calling her “My MJ.”
In the Spiderman films, Holland plays Peter Parker, while Zendaya stars as his love interest, MJ. However, dating rumors had swirled around them for years before they confirmed their relationship.

According to many outlets, Zendaya’s engagement ring is the 5.02-carat East-West Cushion Diamond Button Back Ring featured on the jeweller’s website. The sparkling ring stands out among the other Bvlgari jewellery pieces Zendaya wore.
When did Zendaya and Tom Holland get engaged?
TMZ broke the news about TomDaya’s engagement. According to a source, the Spiderman star “popped the question between Christmas and New Year’s” in a “very intimate setting at one of Zendaya’s family homes.” The source called the proposal “romantic and intimate,” which seems perfectly fitting for the couple.
Did Zendaya acknowledge her engagement or the ring?
Zendaya has stayed coy about the whole situation, neither confirming nor denying the rumors. Zendaya’s engagement ring has yet to be acknowledged by the actress. However, a Los Angeles Times article reported that the 28-year-old “kept showing her ring, smiled coyly, and shrugged her shoulders mysteriously” when a reporter asked if she was engaged. Who is Jessica McCormack?
Jessica McCormack is a well-known London-based jewellery designer. The brand designs “exceptional diamond jewellery for the modern woman,” according to their website. McCormack began the brand in 2008.
Actress Zoë Kravitz is a brand ambassador for them. Previously Kravitz was engaged to actor Channing Tatum, until they broke up in October 2024.
McCormack has spoken about her inspiration for making jewellery.
She said: “One of the reasons I started designing jewellery was to reinvigorate some of the antique jewellery-making techniques I had discovered during my time at the jewellery department at Sotheby’s. I wanted to recreate them, but in designs that made them relevant and wearable for women today. The whole idea of creating contemporary yet timeless pieces, designed to be passed down generations, is at the very core of what I do.”
She previously worked in the jewellery department at Southerby’s and was inspired by antiques and old-style jewellery. The styles there inspired her brand’s image, and perhaps Zendaya’s engagement ring.
