Zendaya and Tom Holland are confirmed to be engaged – and the internet’s delighted.
Rumours of their engagement began swirling when Zendaya appeared on the Golden Globes red carpet wearing a large diamond ring on the fourth finger of her left hand.

HBO Max seemed to confirm the news by sharing a photo of the ring alongside a clip from Zendaya’s show Euphoria.
The clip in question comes from season two, episode 5, where Maddy (Alexia Demie) asks Zendaya’s character Rue over when she witnessed two other characters kiss.
“Rue, when was this?” Maddy asks.
“Right after New Year’s,” Rue responds.

TMZ has since confirmed the engagement, though the couple haven’t done so themselves. It reported that Holland proposed “in a very intimate setting in one of Zendaya’s family homes in the United States” between Christmas and New Year.

Of course, fans have been thrilled about the news – and they’ve had some funny takes on the situation too.

How long have Zendaya and Tom Holland been together?
Zendaya and Tom Holland confirmed they were in a relationship in 2021 during the press tour for their film Spider Man: No Way Home.
However, it is believed that they first began dating back in 2016 after filming the first film in their Spiderman franchise, Spiderman: Homecoming. They then took a break from dating around 2019 and both started seeing other people.
Zendaya briefly dated Euphoria co-star Jacob Elordi, while Holland dated English actress Nadia Parkes around 2020. The following year, they reunited and have been together ever since.
